Course is for individuals involved in street and highway work expected to provide a safe work zone. Participants will gain knowledge in the process of installing, maintaining, and monitoring work zone traffic control, including how to set up temporary work zones and plan work zones, traffic patterns, and pedestrian patterns. Students will receive MUTCD 2009 Edition Parts 1, 5 and 6 (or most current edition), the Guidelines for Work Zone Safety for Utilities Handbook, and One-Call Handbook.
