On-site fit-testing at NDSC Campus.

FIT TESTING IN BISMARCK OR ON-SITE

At the North Dakota Safety Council, we’re expanding access to our Fit Testing so more people can stay safe, compliant, and confident.

  • On-Site Fit Testing for Groups – We come to your facility so you can keep your team protected without disrupting workflow.
  • Public Fit Testing Every Other Tuesday – If you don’t have a group to test, you can still get proper Fit Testing at our Bismarck campus every other Tuesday.

Proper Fit Testing makes the difference between safe and at-risk exposure. We can fit your team fast and get them back on the job safely. NDSC’s Fit Testing can be combined with other training and make your OSHA annual requirement more efficient. Our Fit Testing offers quantitative testing that measures the amount of face seal leakage, which eliminates the risk and uncertainty when it comes to your team’s safety.

PUBLIC FIT TESTING SESSIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE

Public testing is scheduled every other Tuesday from 7:30 am – 9:30 am in our Bismarck office*.  Register by using the form below to choose the date and complete all necessary information.  Registration will close three (3) business days before testing to assure all information is received and the medical evaluation is completed and approved.  Fit Testing will not proceed without an approved medical evaluation prior to the testing date.  All participants must be clean shaven at the time of Fit Testing.

*Schedule is subject to change so please refer to our schedule tab to see when Fit Testing is available.

THE STATS SPEAK VOLUMES

  • Up to 40% of workers who use tight-fitting respirators are wearing ones that don’t properly fit.

  • A proper fit can reduce exposure to hazardous substances by 90% or more.

  • OSHA requires fit testing annually and anytime there are changes to the user’s facial structure, weight, or the type of respirator used.

From construction zones to manufacturing floors, from healthcare facilities to oilfields—if your team wears respirators, fit testing is the critical first step. It ensures compliance, enhances protection, and builds a culture of safety and trust.
