Over the next several months thousands of contractors will make their way to Marathon’s Mandan Refinery to complete the yearly turnaround. Contractors are required to complete several steps including site-specific training. The NDSC is an approved HASC facility offering Safety Essentials courses for Marathon contractors. Use our state-of-the-art proctored training room located at the NDSC campus in Bismarck, ND, to complete the Safety Essentials courses required for contractors by Marathon.

All contract workers must take and successfully complete the approved site-specific training requirements prior to obtaining a Contractor Badge for the Marathon Refinery located in Mandan, ND. In addition to the training courses, contractors must pass a background check and a drug & alcohol compliance test.

The in-person proctoring is great for groups, including large groups of 15 or more or smaller groups of 15 or less at a time.

The NDSC training lab is open 8AM – 5PM Monday through Friday.

Note: you cannot pre-purchase the Safety Essential courses through your own account via the HASC LINK platform if you plan on taking the course(s) at the NDSC campus. NDSC must purchase the courses for you for the courses to be available at our campus.
