The opioid epidemic has surpassed motor vehicle crashes as the leading cause of unintentional death. Through advocacy and training, we can work together to keep our community safe.

Between 2019 and 2023, there were 496 unintentional drug overdose deaths in North Dakota, with 374 of those being caused by opioids.
On average, 2 North Dakotans die each week from an unintentional drug overdose.
