NDSC COVID-19 Precautions

As we work to fulfill our mission of preventing injuries and saving lives, the NDSC will continue to modify and work proactively to slow the spread of COVID-19.

We have implemented the following precautions:

  • Masks Welcomed

    Masks are welcomed to be worn by visitors, and we have them available free of charge at the front desk.

  • Sanitation

    All NDSC common spaces and classrooms are cleaned regularly.

  • Temperature Checks

    Temperature checks are available for anyone who would like one. For the courtesy of others, please do not enter the building is you are not feeling well.

Guests are asked not to enter our facilities if they:

  • Feel Sick Or Have Symptoms

    If you feel sick or are experiencing symptoms such as persistent cough; fever/chills; body aches; chest pains; or difficulty breathing.

  • Have Been in Close Contact with COVID-19 or Have Spend Time in a High-Risk Area

    If you were informed by the ND Department of Health or any other agency, that you may have been in close contact with a person who may have been infected with COVID-19 or you have recently traveled or spent time in a high-risk area. 

  • Are Supposed To Be Self Isolating

    If you were informed by a health agency that you should self-isolate because of a recent close contact with a person possibly infected with COVID-19.

Visitors will be asked to leave if they exhibit signs of illness, and all visitors are asked to follow heightened hygiene and distancing practices including: 

  • Sanitize hands prior to entering the facility
  • Wash hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds
  • Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available
  • Avoid touching mouth, nose, or eyes
  • Cover coughs/sneezes with arm or a tissue
