This course teaches first responders such as paramedics, ambulance crews, and firefighters, the latest strategies for safe response to a workplace violence or active shooter incident. Topics covered will include an overview of the scope of problem; case studies; and suggestions for working with local law enforcement on creating a comprehensive response strategy. The new “warm zone” response protocol for EMS will also be discussed.
