What do you do at NDSC?
I work as a Safety Consultant and Trainer, providing safety consultations and instructing classes out of the Fargo office.
Why is NDSC’s mission to prevent injuries and save lives important to you?
I have an 8-year-old daughter that fuels my passion for safety. I want to make sure I am providing every company and student I work with a better understanding of the importance of working safely and making it home to their loved ones every day.
What are your hobbies?
Golfing and working out. (For as much as I have golfed, I should be better…)
If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?
I would love to travel around Europe exploring several different countries, including the Nordic Region. Just the amount of history and culture would be amazing to see!
Favorite singer/band/song?
Beastie Boys ~ ‘Sabotage’, but I love all kinds of music and genres.
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
Everybody treats each other the way they want to be treated.
Biggest pet peeve?
Disrespectful/rude people
Who would play you in a movie?
I’ve been told by several people that I resemble Seth Rogan, but I would’ve loved it to have been Chris Farley!
What is your biggest fear in life?
Anything negative happening to my daughter.
What is your favorite movie, book and TV show?
The movie question is tough because there are so many I love to watch, but if I am forced to pick one movie to watch for the rest of my life, it would probably be ‘She’s Out of my League’ (wanted to say ‘The Shawshank Redemption’, but I’m a sucker for a good Rom-Com). My favorite book is ‘Friday Night Lights’, and my favorite TV Shows are ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Breaking Bad’, and ‘Band of Brothers’.
