Dennis’s Credentials
Dennis has extensive experience in the safety and oil industry. He has served as a manager/director for a number of safety companies where he provided training, policy creation, incident investigation, safety audits and much more. Dennis has served as a regional safety manager in the Bakken region, and also has a military background and is a published author and public speaker.

What do you do at NDSC?
I’m a safety trainer based out of the Minot office. My duties include teaching OBOW, First-aid/CPR and other topics related to oil & gas, industrial safety and traffic safety.
Why is NDSC’s mission to prevent injuries and save lives important to you?
I’ve experienced the unfortunate occurrence of losing a sibling to a preventable accident. It has become my personal mission to help others make it home safely to their families by being a resource and mentor.
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy camping with my family, writing, and occasionally doing some artwork.
Name one really interesting thing about yourself.
I wrote and published a book.
Favorite singer/band/song?
My favorite band is Journey.
Biggest pet peeve?
People cutting corners to save time.
What is your biggest strength and your biggest weakness?
My biggest strength is my continued drive for success. My biggest weakness is taking on too much workload.
What store would you pick to max out your credit card?
Probably whatever store my children decided they wanted to go shopping in that day.
What is your biggest fear in life?
Failing my family.

To run for Senator.
